I cannot believe the amount of people who literally cannot take responsibility for something that YOU signed. I go to a gym billed from National Fitness and they have always been courteous. I know a lot of you like to use words like "fine-print" or probably "the club didn't say that to me", but what DO you people do with your contracts? Chuck them in a drawer? Throw it away? Use it for scratch paper? Whose fault is it really then if you never took time to read through an agreement that YOU signed legally. If you ink it, your responsible. I had some problems once with fee's but they explained that everything was in my agreement. When I finally took the chance to read it, they were right. I know you probably hate to assume responsibility when you know that you're wrong, but this is ridiculous. None of you will act like adults and actually say "No, I didn't read my contract. It is my fault, please tell me what I need to do to cancel this", etc. But no, you act like children coming to these reviews to bash on a company that is a 3rd party. If you read your agreement, it's not even with National Fitness! People, learn to read and you will much better off. Good luck with anything else YOU sign up for because it doesn't sound like anybody really understands what a contract really is.

I understand full well what a contract is and i fulfilled mine with National Fitness. They found ways to continue to charge me even though i provided proof that i sent the cancellation as directed. In short, all negative reviews on here are valid and yours largely unsubstantive.

My wife signed a contract that was billed using a different company. We cancelled the contract according to terms. When the billing transitioned to National Fitness Financial (after our cancellation) they began billing us again. Many discussions (more than two hours over a couple of days, faxes, and email) with NFF yielded no results. A 16 minute call with the company who originally held the contract cleared it up at which point I was informed that the minimal information NFF was giving me was incorrect. To your point, I am happy to take responsibility for what we signed up for but NFF was not helpful, extremely disrespectful, and all-around incompetent in our dealings.
